NC Cardinal is a growing consortium of public libraries in 40 North Carolina counties dedicated to sharing resources and expanding opportunities through the use of a single online catalog. NC Cardinal expands items available to you from about 100,000 items in Perry Memorial Library to over 6.4 million statewide!

What’s not changing…

• You can still request items, renew checkouts, and manage your account online, by phone, or in person
• Perry Memorial Library cardholders will continue to have first dibs on books, movies, and other materials owned by Perry Memorial Library.

The catalog looks different, but everything else is pretty much the same. Same checkout periods, same library card number, same PIN.

Additionally, your card will now work to check out items at all NC Cardinal libraries statewide, including Granville and Franklin counties.

March 19 - Begin Resource Sharing

Resource sharing begins. The holdings of all other NC Cardinal libraries, including the Government and Heritage library, will be available to you! You can borrow items using your Perry Memorial Library card, it will be sent here, and you will pick it up just like any other hold. Over 6.4 million items at your fingertips!
